Dear Members of the Selangor Bar,  



Our Civil Practice & Court Liaison Chairperson, Ms.Kokila Vaani Vadiveloo and I as the Chairman of the Selangor Bar, had a meeting with the Pengarah Mahkamah Shah Alam late this morning regarding the internal memo dated 23.04.2019 issued by the Civil Sessions Court 12 which was to take effect from today, 02.05.2019, disallowing payment of judgement sum into a solicitors' client account in all running down cases before the said Civil Sessions Court 12 at Shah Alam. 



At the said meeting, it was resolved that the said internal memo shall immediately be revoked in its entirety.



Members are advised to be guided accordingly.
