Duties:

Involved with the affairs of the every day running of the Secretariat;

To attend Committee Meetings and prepare the minutes of committee meetings;

To follow up for meetings with the judiciary and other officers and courtesy calls on the respective government departments;

Monitor the whole operation of the Secretariat and brief the Committee at the meetings;

Check on the sub-committees files/correspondences/follow up/KIV matters;

Making necessary arrangements whenever there are seminars, talks or functions organised by various sub-committees such as sending letters to speakers, preparing circular and liaising with the hotel and get sponsorships to for functions;

Duties:

Reception- Attend to despatch and other walk-ins.
.
Acknowledge documents, payments, stamp documents, issue receipts and forward to relevant authorities;

Incoming mails and e-mails- To receive and forward to relevant authorities;
.
Drafting letters on enquires, complaints and from Bar Council;
.
To co-ordinate– With regards to Chambering documents and attending to chambering pupils when the come in to serve their documents;
.
To prepare and collect cash or cheques, forms for Sijil Caruman., also for BC Box;
.
Keys for BC Box, update in the BC record book and ask Khairul to duplicate if requested;
.
Organise courtesy calls and liasing with the revelant authorities;

In the event of committee meetings- to order refreshments for participants;

To organize functions/seminars or talks;

Booking of conference room for Disciplinary Committee hearing;

Duties:

Keeps accurate records and files;
.
Advising the members in respect of the usage of library materials, handling reference and information search request.Maintain and record all library materials on the database & arrange all the books and journals by its title and subjects;

Providing a comprehensive information service and developing library collection;
.
Update library information on the website;
.
To ensure that all necessary procedures as per the Rules & Regulations of Library are followed in the provision of library services to users;
.
Ensure the library system is backed up;
.
Ensure all computer hardware, network and software is functioning in the Selangor Bar Office and Legal Aid Centre;
.
Provide technical support for Selangor Bar Office and attend to disruptions in the automated system and check and update PC hard-wares and soft-wares;
.
Maintain records of all IT equipment and other duties as and when required;
.
Upload the entire circular, events and photographs on the website & Scanning & Photocopying. Send email blast to members;

Keeps accurate records and files of Chambering Pupils Affairs.

Duties:
