CONVEYANCING PRACTICE : UPDATES AND GUIDELINES : QUIT RENT



Please be informed that Selangor Bar Conveyancing Chairperson have met twice with Pejabat Tanah Dan Galian (PTGS) in regard to above matter.



We have been informed, that the current guidelines which requires a duly paid quit rent receipt 2016 to be produced upon presentation of the strata title at Selangor Land Office remains. Please be advised that we have applied from the Selangor Land Office to accept the presentation by just producing documentary evidence that the current quit rent portion for individual parcel has been paid. The matter is still awaiting the approval from "Pihak Berkuasa Negeri'. We will inform members in due course of its development.
